We were there on a rainy day! Very friendly landlords, good food and top cream puffs! Definitely worth a visit!

The innkeepers are very friendly and invite you to your parlor. There are fine snacks, fresh dishes from the menu of the day and the world's best homemade pies and cakes. Wonderful tours invite you to start on the doorstep. I can only recommend it

Apartment in top condition, very friendly and helpful hosts, very good price-performance ratio. The location is a very good starting point for a hiking holiday. Also worth mentioning is the good one Gastronomy on site.

I was there several times this week for lunch or coffee and cake. The dishes are simple, but everything is freshly prepared and nicely presented, as well as tasty. I can only recommend the cakes, fruit rolls and cream puffs (unbeatable!) In different flavors!

A colleague praised the cream puff from here and told me that it was 100% worth it to try one of several. It was true. There are 4 types (4 can also be called more or? 😉): with chocolate, vanilla Eirliquer and strawberries, but only 3 of them tonight (the berries were absent when ordering 🙂) which are freshly made, very large and delicious . The owners of the farm class: introduce themselves to each guest with their first name and a laughing and welcoming greeting. The mood is very pleasant and confidential. Why only 4 stars? I removed a star because the dishes were cleared away too quickly and we had the feeling that we had to hurry. But ... it was definitely just a feeling. Of course we will eat something delicious here again on occasion. P.S The children ordered chocolate cake, here also a very large portion. Despite the size of the portion, I was "forced" to order 2 pieces immediately from their appetite. So ... that's the best proof of the treat. Definitely recommendable. In terms of prices, I say acceptable. (For example, our order was: 1 St. Shoko wind bag, 4 St. Shoko cake, 2 x warm chocolate and a large latte machiato. All 30 euros). A! Please do not overlook: if you want to burn the calories, you can easily take a walk to the Josephstaler waterfall, only about 300-400 m away. Enjoy your meal and enjoy yourself. Quaint little café and have been a popular destination for years. The operation is lovingly run by the family and you can tell that as a guest. Highly recommended are the cakes and pies baked by the boss daily. Also, the puffs with different fillings are a dream. Those who prefer hearty will find a small selection of dishes on the menu. In addition there are changing dishes of the season. In summer, a small shady garden invites you to linger.

We were only there for one night, but it was beautiful! The rooms are comfortable and cozy, everything is there what you need and in a perfect condition. The family is very nice and makes every effort to be fulfilled. The food there tastes very good and is mostly regional and mostly homemade. All in all it was a very nice stay.

A warm welcome to a natural country café with a personal conversation with the Gasteiner hosts. With natural, specially made juices and hot cider, it tastes like grandma or mother's - so wonderfully organic ... harvested from our own trees, priceless in itself. It goes without saying that the juices cannot be sold, to my regret 😉. Then it just says: come back 😊 Fresh, homemade cakes, cream puffs and strudel (which can also be served warm on request with ... individual wishes 😍) invite you to linger a while. I will gladly come again.

We sat outside in the beer garden, it's really idyllic there. The landlady was very friendly and made you feel welcome. The cakes were very tasty, the visit was worth it for the cream puff alone. A nice end to the visit to the Josephstal waterfalls.

We were in a hurry and the staff were more than happy to accommodate us and served up incredible baked goods, coffee and cold drinks. Apparently everything is made in house, I'd definitely go back and stay for longer.
